Your camp is holding — barely. You go out, you scavenge what you can, you come back. The shadow creatures pour from the dark without end, but the ancient forces that birth them are not theirs alone: the same power that shapes them can be bound to your weapons and turned back on them. The Curse System

Each run you pick two weapons and bind one curse to each. Alternate fire casts the curse, consuming shadow energy harvested from fallen enemies. The knife is always available but cannot carry a curse.

๐ŸŸฃ Attractor
Pulls nearby enemies toward the cursed target. Best with the Grenade Launcher and Shotgun — weapons that pay out when the room gets tight.

๐ŸŸฃ Reflector
Your bullets ricochet off the cursed enemy and duplicate into whatever is standing behind it. Best with the Pistol and Assault Rifle.

๐ŸŸฃ Meat Shield
Enemy projectiles track the cursed target instead of you. Works with any weapon. Useful when the other curses aren't an option.

๐ŸŸฃ Splitter
Converts a heavy, high-health enemy into several smaller ones. Best with the Rifle and Shotgun.

Reflector on the Pistol and Meat Shield on the Assault Rifle is a run where you stand in the open and barely flinch. Attractor on the Grenade Launcher and Splitter on the Shotgun is a run about turning one big problem into one big explosion. The same four curses produce very different nights out depending on what you pair them with.
